It's pretty good.
I kept getting a little miffed when my pill would just ram into things after clicking the go button, but overall it kept me entertained and it had a decent story.

Glad you liked it.
You can hold SHIFT to stop your ship from moving, and doing that when you're about to hit the GO button can be pretty useful.
Trading hasn't been done for a while. Also CAMEO!
I like the concept, it's original! All the cameos were awesome, but cameo-ing me? Luff <3
It kept my attention, it was fun and there was a great music selection!
Happy Thanksgiving and Radical game!
Hehehe thank you for making that funny song...it fitted well on the credits :)
Lots of Work and Luff a good game makes :3
Really when I started I like the way you ease us (the player) Into how the game and mechanics work, and It was fun and challenging.
Your story and starting cutscene was funny and made of win, really now how many time do you play AS the asteroid?
Anyway your upgrade system is cool and you really capture the whole "We are one, we are legion" way of the noble asteroid. Really when I got to the level with "The mine" and blew myself apart for my team I thought it was game over until I saw another ally of mine rise to leadership! (Great actionscript and great gameplay!)
My one gripe is when I got to the level before the last, I was PWNZORED by the boss, It was nice letting us continue but even then with half my powerups I had no chance... It was sad really...Someday I'll see one of the endings...someday...
Either Way GREAT game, Cool mid level pep-talks and an awesome story! I can't wait to see your next flash!!!
And it didn't lag either!
Nice review! Thank you very much!
The boss was hard to balance... if you come at him with an armada of allies you would complain about how easy he was to kill. If you try again, try to grab the ally powerups on those last few levels. It will make a big difference.
Yes, I did a lot of optimization in this game. It really shows on the free-for-all level (after the boss) where you can be fighting up to 100 ships at a time.
Brings back, disturbing memories
Ok I loved this game as a kid, but to be honest it freaked me out a little, when i saw this game was a remake I was like oh hell yeah! But then the trouble started...
I played story mode because I always wanted to see the ending, and for the first 1-3 levels I was crusing along kicking ass as usual, but then I encountered the spear-elephant like guys and the killed me 5 TIMES... 5 Flippin times! But still I gamed on because this game rules.
When I got to the dumpling Mama with only one extra life I fought it like hell! I knowed out both of its eyes and didn't get hit once, then I started hitting the body, when if freaking just blood-shit and killed me instantly, ok that sucked but I learned it spits blood from the holes so i move to my right and i'm nailing it, and then it moves over me and insta kills me with blood again!
So Why? why is the bosses blood move instant, with no warning whatsoever? it just instantly rapes you and you can't tell where it's coming from.
Other than that sweet game, i always loved the badland series.
Classy. Great Character, Great Game.
I absolutly love Ongaku! The gameplay is original (no more mashing the keyboard) and your choice of music reflects the overall story.
One problem I had was the amount of picture that remains uncolored even with 99% accuracy, it's like "You want to get it completely colored? You gotta be hardcore, no 99% for you!"
Another was getting perfects, the way you can just scoop up the notes was great, but the little delay on getting a perfect note becomes impossible to deal with on the harder songs.
The add your own picture part was ingenious in everyway, I played a song with a VG cats wallpaper background and I was blown away with the sheer awesomeness of it all.
I like your character Ongaku, but if you bring it to console, I'd really like to see some character development from him, you know what his name means? Is she male or female? Does he spend his spare time just hanging out with Harmony, or just going around making music? It would be really cool if she could talk, just to help add a layer of depth to her.
And last don't you think it would be cool to have an online multiplayer mode? you know like 2 or 3 diffrent people all doing their own beats to make up a single song, like the upcoming Xbox360 game Rock Band.
Anyway It's a great game, hope you win Rock out contest.

OMG This game is made of GOD AND WIN! #101 review
This game is fucking RADICAL!
Really, on the negative side It was kind of hard for my pc to play without slowdown even with low quality, but I won't hold that against you.
But the best thing about this game is the sound test unlockable and the win/lose messages, really the whole "go play final fantasy since you suck so much" minute long rant is the BEST GAME OVER EVER.
Totally awesome
Wow, where to start. first off this is one of the best flash-made RPGS I've played in a while, the mixing of sprites and vector art is awesome, and when I noticed that everyones facial expressions change during the conversation I was like "holy shit this guy is serious". Your own music is fantastic and it fits the moods.
Plot wise, during the start with the dragon it was awesome, you reaction system makes the game better in that your not just sitting there waiting for things to happen,
The way the heroes were talking seemed immature but I never saw THAT plot twist coming, I just kept laughing about it!
Anyway now I'm wondering is the main character gonna make it out of this alive? Because so far he looks screwed.
Anyway great game!
Ah, and someone finally mentioned the expressive avatars, too! I really like those myself, but nobody else commented on them at all... Hm.
Thanks for the good review though!
Didn't feel like a rhythm game...
I just don't think it does the genre justice, I say this because during this game you have to collect the green beats with the mouse... THATS IT.
I think that it should of been a kind of button presser, or at least make the green beats fall in time with the song, since during this all i did was sit there and move the mouse around while a song played in the background.
Don't get me wrong, this is clearly a well made game with great visuals, but for a rock out contest entry, I felt like i did less "rocking out" and more sitting there and looking at a screen while trying to move the mouse to the right spots and hoping to avoid the dreaded "strobe" powerup.
Wicked Cycon!
Funniest game idea ever! The chatting as you went was a nice touch, and overall this game kicks ass, I wish you could evade easier though seeing as I got bitchslapped to death in the black hole...
Sweet game anyways!
Long text was clever
Well to start off nice choice on music, something new to hear finally!
all your cusors were unique none like the other. (incoming kicked ass though)
and to answer your long text yes, I did vote 5 :)
